The BEST Honey Bun Loaf Ever!
We were brainstorming here at Hate2clean.com Maid Service about our next blog idea. Bored with posting about the usual cleaning tips, I mean that's what you hire us to do, right? After much debate, Eureka! How about blogging about favorite recipes instead? Here's our first one, Honey Bun Loaf!!! It's oh so yummy and finger lickin' delicious. Don't worry, leave the mess and the dishes to us, we'll clean them on our next scheduled cleaning date. Don't you just love having your home cleaned on a weekly or bi-weekly basis! We thought so. Ingredients:
1/4 cup chopped nuts (we love using pecans or walnuts) 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 1/3 cup honey 2 tablespoons brown sugar 3/4 teaspoon Tones, McCormick or Simply Organic Cinnamon
1 can (10 oz) Pillsbury, Hungry Jack or Annie's Organic refrigerated Big and Flaky biscuits
2 tablespoon margarine or butter melted if desired.
Heat oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, combine nuts, honey and 1/3 cup melted butter: Pour into ungreased 8 x 4 or 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Separate Dough into 10 biscuits. In another small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Pat about 1 teaspoon full of mixture on one side of each biscuit. Stand biscuits on edge, slightly overlapping, in 2 rows of 5 biscuits each in prepared pan. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of butter,
